Prime Care of Manatee has some of the most unprofessional and negligent practice I have ever encountered in my entire life. I came here towards the end of last year for a kidney infection. I was prescribed the WRONG antibiotic for THREE times, before they finally checked my urine culture (which they sent out each time but never reviewed to match with the correct antibiotic) and gave me the right antibiotic the FOURTH time. I was on antibiotics due to their negligence for over a month. Dr.Sheilds just rolled her eyes and blamed her coworkers and physicians and said that it was my fault that I saw them instead of her while she was on vacation. I ended up passing a kidney stone and spent over a month in extreme pain as my kidney infection got worse, I lost over 10 pounds from throwing up almost everyday. This type of behavior is unforgivable. No one should suffer just because their physician kept throwing out random antibiotics before checking the urine culture. I would not come here again. There have been other negative instances that I have experienced here, but I'm sure from other reviews people will understand to not come here. Negligence and malpractice is found here.
